Funding expertise enables companies to reduce their financing costs.
The EU places emphasis on the following main areas:

*Definition of SMEs by the European Commission: Small companies are independent companies with up to 50 employees and annual sales of up to EUR 10 m or total assets of up to EUR 10 m. Medium-sized companies are independent companies with up to 250 employees and annual sales of up to EUR 50 m or total assets of up to EUR 43 m. Large companies exceed this limits.
We make a distinction in the funding database between Austria-wide funding campaigns and campaigns within the individual provinces. Here you will find over 100 important programmes for companies in a one-page layout. The campaigns have been uniformly evaluated according to EU topics (EU logic).
Funding campaigns that can also be utilised by large companies* are listed under the topic “Investments” (even though they cannot be allocated to any of the EU topics). The basis for this is the De Minimis rule or a special industry subsidy. The industry focal areas include Transport, Agricultural Products, Agriculture, Forestry and Tourism.
Funding management – from initial application to final settlement – is one of the historical basic competences of Investkredit. A team of technicians provides support with the preparation and submission of projects.
Funding bank Austria Wirtschaftsservice GmbH (aws) is an important partner of Investkredit for providing funding within Austria. It is also one of the main trustee banks that process the ERP financing of corporates.
Austria’s main environmental funding is processed by Kommunalkredit Public Consulting, a subsidiary of Kommunalkredit Austria AG.
At the European level, Investkredit administers a global loan of the European Investment Bank in Luxembourg and co-operates with KfW banking group in Frankfurt.
